February 2002 Archives

I'm banging my head against the wall over this paper. I'm unsure of what exactly is expected of me, and I think they're assuming I ought to pick up on some major point of doctrine that I'm missing here. Frustrating. I'm calling my instructor tomorrow.

In other news, we're moving close to finalizing the dates for the mixing of the CD. I can't wait to get it done, not to mention take some time off and relax down in Temple.

If anyone knows how to make an entire frame use one font in Dreamweaver without having to constantly rewrite it over and over again with
and
breaks, I'd appreciate the tip. Having so much HTML text and stuff makes writing these journals kind of annoying, as it's slow to respond.

Today was a pretty boring day. Actually, it was a good day. I tend to think that if nothing thrilling and abnormal happens that a day is boring. That's stupid. I learned much, especially in studying 1 Corinthians 3:1-17, which is a paper I'm writing for school. Good stuff in there.

So far, it seems to me like Paul is talking to the Corinthians about their immature Christianity, not about salvation or purgatory. It's clear in the context that the Corinthians are believers, are saved, and right now, before doing my word studies, that we're talking about a judgment of what true believers did with their lives, not about their salvation. I'll find out more as I study.

It's 10:23pm, so I think I'll turn in. This was the first day in a long time where I woke up and felt refreshed, like I was ready to get up. I owe it to actually going to bed before 1:00, I suppose. I've been getting to bed before 11:00 almost for a week now. Man, it feels good!

Finally, with much thanks going to Tooki of MacNN, my website is finally being hosted by ME! My beloved iMac! Of course, this is running off of Mac OS X, which has all the power of UNIX, but with the legendary ease-of-use of the Macintosh. Not to mention it’s totally wireless, thanks to the magic of AirPort.

But enough about what the content is on, how about some content?

It got stinking cold today, like in the 10’s and 20’s, and yesterday it was in the 70’s. Go figure. Welcome to Oklahoma. I’m grateful for heat and a warm bed.

It’s late, so I’m going to bed. Hope you’ve enjoyed this minor and pointless entry.
