About Doug Stuart
With a passion for missions, a heart for people, and a pursuit for epistemological humility, Doug Stuart has endeavored solely to glorify God in all these things.
Raised near a ski resort in the mountains of West Virginia, Doug loves to ski, mountain bike, and rollerblade. He currently resides in Lancaster, PA, where he pursues graphic art, video production, and other forms of media as a way to glorify God (although he misses the mountains). A graduate of Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, PA (has mountains), his current ministry experience includes preaching, teaching, and facilitating church groups in learning activities. He teaches an adult Sunday School class at NewSong Fellowship Church, an evangelical church with a huge heart for missions and a passion for loving God and loving people.
Eventually, Doug hopes to marry, raise kids, and be on the mission field in either short-term, long-term, or temporary capacity (hopefully near mountains). "It's a waste of money to NOT invest in missions, and it's a waste of time to not DO missions yourself," he says. We're sure Piper would agree!
